TSM score with Grand Slam Ball
TSM put on a Grand Slam Ball in Newport recently which celebrated what has been a fantastic year for Welsh rugby.
Over 180 guests got up, close and personal with a host of Wales’ rugby heroes, including Wales captain Ryan Jones, player of the tournament Shane Williams and Ospreys star James Hook, and found out more than they bargained for in a Q&A session, which uncovered the players’ favourite cheese, whether their second toe was bigger than their big toe and much to the delight of the females in the audience Luke Charteris’ nickname of ‘Long Dog’.
A highlight of the evening was an auction of rugby themed treasures which included a 30 minute ride in a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder driven by Shane Williams (Donated by Amante9), a private flight over the Gower with Ian Gough and a round of golf with Neil Jenkins.
Richard Matthews, director of TSM, said: “It has been a tremendous year for Welsh rugby and what better way to celebrate the triumph of the Six Nations than being amongst the heroes from the tournament. It was a very patriotic evening and we’ve had great feedback from those that came along.”
TSM will be hosting another ball to tie in with the Autumn Internationals later on this year. Watch this space for more information
