Profile
Considered as one of the most talented Fullbacks, Kevin Morgan began his domestic career at Pontypridd RFC, he later signed for Swansea in 1998. Five years later Morgan joined the Celtic Warriors, however when the side was disbanded he signed for the Newport Gwent Dragons where he remains today.
Having gained caps for Wales at U19 and U21 levels, Wales Youth and Wales A teams, Morgan made his senior Wales debut against the USA in 1997.
Morgan was an influential figure in the 2005 RBS Six Nations Grand Slam Campaign, having missed the previous year due to a broken foot, Morgan socred the match winning try against Ireland in the 32 -20 win.
On the international scene Morgan has shown his true commitment to the sport, in the 2007 RBS Six Nations squad Morgan fractured his jaw against Scotland. The horrific injury resulted in Morgan needing an operation in which a plate was inserted into his jawbone. But despite this, Morgan bounced back and played against Italy just four weeks later.
In domestic rugby his career has gone from strength to strength, in 2004 -2005 season he was the Celtic League’s top try scorer and during the 2006–2007 season he scored a staggering 9 tries for the Dragons.
